the work after such a short experience of it and in view of the
fact that the detailed reports of Mr. Wolfe and Mr. Willians are
in your hands. I should like however to call attention to a
fow subjects that seem to invite comparison between K.S. and V.
3.
Mathematics.
Strong. I am half inclined to think there
has been a tendency to favour this subject at the expense of
others.
Handwriting.
Unsatisfactory: the bigger boys seemed to

the Assistants at K.S., neither Mrs. Morris and Miss Rutter
writes a good copperplate black-board hand. The essays I for-
-ward are much neater than similar ones done at the beginning
of the month.
Spelling.
Composition.
General knowledge.
Disappointingly wek in the upper class.
